The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barron connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Barron fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Flinn.

and Barron counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Flinn is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Flinn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barron napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Flinn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barron swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
