Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Escador tries to avoid it but Edwards manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Escador to the ground. Escador escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Escador looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Edwards has a takedown stuffed.
Escador stuffs the takedown.
Winston Escador has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Edwards.
Escador drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Edwards is looking for a triangle but Escador pushes his legs off easily.
Escador stopping the sweep attempt from Edwards.
Edwards looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Edwards bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Escador's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Escador is trying to keep Edwards in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Edwards gets to his feet - Escador follows without any prompting.
Escador shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Escador looking to control but Edwards is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Edwards gets back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Escador prevents Edwards from improving his position.
Edwards looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Edwards desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Edwards trying to hold on to Escador's head to control him but Escador postures up.
Edwards moves into full guard.
Edwards manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Edwards is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Edwards scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Edwards is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Escador tries to roll over but Edwards keeps him under control.
Edwards uses his free foot to push down on Escador's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Escador.
Edwards jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Escador manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Edwards passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Escador!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Escador is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Edwards locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Escador is forced to tap!
