Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boyan Cadell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanamichi Sakuragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cadell comes to the cage accompanied by Run to the Hills. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Boyan Cadell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hanamichi Sakuragi! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cadell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sakuragi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Cadell fails in his attempt to clinch. Sakuragi misses with an uppercut
and Cadell counters with a beautiful punch that sends Sakuragi to the canvas!
It looks like Hanamichi Sakuragi has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cadell controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Cadell trying to control but Sakuragi is working from the bottom. Cadell engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Cadell wants to control from the top but Sakuragi keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Boyan Cadell. Sakuragi ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Cadell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sakuragi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sakuragi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Sakuragi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Sakuragi scores with a nice right hand.
Sakuragi keeps the fight on the outside. Cadell misses with an attempted mid kick.
Cadell shoots in for a double leg but Sakuragi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cadell takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cadell fails to land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Some wild striking there from Cadell.
Cadell lands a big head kick that sends Sakuragi to the canvas! Cadell follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boyan Cadell!
