Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ajax Amsterdam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ajax Amsterdam is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Kowalski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ajax Amsterdam! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kowalski changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Amsterdam looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Amsterdam is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Kowalski working the ground and pound. Kowalski scoring with punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Amsterdam is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Kowalski is staying tight to Amsterdam's torso, preventing him from escaping. Amsterdam pushes Kowalski away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kowalski gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kowalski is chipping away with strikes.
Amsterdam wants to get back to his feet but Kowalski is dominant here and he's now got Amsterdam's back! Amsterdam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kowalski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Amsterdam looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kowalski is punishing Amsterdam with some ground and pound. Kowalski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kowalski has good solid back control here.

Amsterdam controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Kowalski lands an elbow to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Amsterdam covers up after that shot from Kowalski.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kowalski controlling the position well here. Amsterdam rolled but Kowalski kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Amsterdam is rocked! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
