Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Derek Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimmy Hewston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derek Riggs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dimmy Hewston! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Riggs throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Riggs misses with an uppercut. Riggs connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hewston momentarily.
Hewston dives in and grabs Riggs's left leg, looking for a takedown. Riggs pushes down on Hewston's head and hops out. Riggs loads up on a big right hand but Hewston slips the punch. Nice body punch from Riggs. Hewston ducks under a wild hook from Riggs. A telegraphed right hand from Riggs misses the target. Riggs scores with a jab to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Riggs missing with a left hand there. Hewston was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Riggs tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hewston was well out of range. Poor timing from Riggs. Riggs lands a slapping body shot.
Riggs lands with a good body shot. Hewston looks gassed! No joy there for Riggs, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs misses the shot to the body. Sloppy strikes from Riggs. Those never looked like landing. Nice shot lands for Riggs. Derek Riggs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Riggs throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Riggs misses with a hook. Hewston ducked under it nicely. A looping hook to the body misses from Riggs. Hewston does a little dance to reset his feet. Hewston misses with a takedown attempt and Riggs counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Riggs waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hewston. Riggs lands a jab to the head.
Derek Riggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riggs connects with a nice cross there... Hewston is looking wobbly and Riggs recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hewston to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Riggs jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
