White has chosen Street Carp by Deftones as his entrance music. Daniel White has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Niko Clooten's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clooten fakes a jab and throws a low kick but White checks it well.
Clooten tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Clooten misses with a head kick.
White connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Clooten shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Clooten counters with a series of strikes. White will be more careful next time no doubt.

and White counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Clooten tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but White swivels and escapes.

Clooten shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. White eats them both and turns towards Clooten to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Clooten lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Clooten throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
White scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
White lands a lovely overhand right.

Clooten is rocked!
Clooten has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Clooten there as he acknowledges the shot.
Oh Clooten is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Clooten seems to have got his legs back now.
White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Clooten is trying hard to land a takedown here. White sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

White lands with a straight right. Clooten didn't see that one coming.

Oooooh!!! White has knocked Clooten down with a huge combo! White steps away and waves a wobbly Clooten back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Niko Clooten has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White throws a series of punches but Clooten avoids them all with ease.
White chopping away at his opponent's legs.
White misses with a series of wild punches.
White slips a jab and a cross from Clooten.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Clooten shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. White defends it nicely.
White changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and White counters with a crisp one two that drops Clooten! White thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Clooten to his feet! Clooten is in big trouble!
BOOM! White lands a beautiful left hook that drops Clooten. Clooten tries to recover but White is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Clooten lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
