Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helio Reincarneited (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Metropolis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Metropolis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Metropolis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Reincarneited regains half guard.
Metropolis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Metropolis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Metropolis tries to pass to full mount but Reincarneited defends it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Reincarneited fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Metropolis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reincarneited sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Metropolis somewhat.

Reincarneited stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Reincarneited wants it to stay on the feet.
Reincarneited pivots, looking for a leg kick but Metropolis is out of range and Reincarneited settles back down.

and Reincarneited counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Reincarneited shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Metropolis as he jumps to the side.

Metropolis scores with a one two! Reincarneited had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Metropolis is looking to clinch.
Metropolis moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Metropolis checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Metropolis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reincarneited's guard.
Reincarneited tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Metropolis has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Metropolis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Reincarneited's face.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
