Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ruscle Muscle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tank The Razors Edge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muscle's entrance music is DMX's- Where My Dogs At. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tank The Razors Edge was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muscle shoots and misses
and The Razors Edge counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Ruscle Muscle has been cut.
Muscle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Muscle misses with a hook
and The Razors Edge counters with a nice uppercut.
A swing and a miss from Muscle.
The Razors Edge cracks Muscle with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ruscle Muscle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Razors Edge will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The Razors Edge's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Muscle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! The Razors Edge scrambles back to his feet.

The Razors Edge scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Muscle doesn't seem bothered though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Muscle swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and The Razors Edge makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Muscle really felt that one!
The Razors Edge connects with a good right hand that stumbles Muscle. Muscle circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Muscle tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and The Razors Edge cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The Razors Edge throws a low kick but it's checked well by Muscle.
The Razors Edge connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Muscle momentarily.

and The Razors Edge counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruscle Muscle. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Muscle drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The Razors Edge regains half guard, as Muscle was trying to land strikes.

The Razors Edge is trying to get back to full guard.

The Razors Edge kicks Muscle off and gets back to his feet.

The Razors Edge lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

No joy there for Muscle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Muscle shoots in for a takedown but The Razors Edge shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The Razors Edge connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Muscle's hands.
Muscle feints and then cracks The Razors Edge's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Razors Edge down.

and The Razors Edge makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Muscle lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as The Razors Edge backs up against the cage.

The Razors Edge takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Muscle throws a leg kick but The Razors Edge sees it coming and moves out of range.

The Razors Edge slaps away a takedown attempt from Muscle, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The Razors Edge moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

The Razors Edge throws a front kick aimed at Muscle's knee but Muscle avoids it well.

The Razors Edge takes the fight into the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Muscle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Muscle lands a body punch in the clinch.
Muscle lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt The Razors Edge or not.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Muscle creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The Razors Edge tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Muscle blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Muscle lands with a left to the head.
Muscle utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Muscle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as The Razors Edge walks away with a smile on his face. Muscle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Muscle closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Muscle lands in his opponent's guard.
Muscle works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Muscle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks The Razors Edge with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Muscle is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The Razors Edge slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Muscle with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Muscle thows a huge punch but The Razors Edge dodges it nicely.
The Razors Edge scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Muscle manages to mount him!

Muscle lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Well Muscle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
