Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roddy Bugasto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin McFreedies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bugasto throws a right hand that misses
and McFreedies counters by clinching up.
McFreedies lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Bugasto tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McFreedies just stands there and leans against the cage.
McFreedies connects with a nasty looking knee right to Bugasto's face.

Bugasto shoots in looking for a takedown but McFreedies manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bugasto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
McFreedies is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and McFreedies counters with a head kick. That will keep Bugasto thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bugasto. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Bugasto swats away the attempt to clinch by McFreedies.

McFreedies is refusing to be controlled, as Bugasto sits in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McFreedies lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bugasto has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bugasto and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

McFreedies tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bugasto swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bugasto shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bugasto was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McFreedies is squirming around, avoiding Bugasto's attempts to control the action.
Bugasto is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because McFreedies is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

McFreedies's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Bugasto misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
McFreedies really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bugasto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bugasto is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. McFreedies is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. McFreedies flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bugasto anticipates the leg and manages to get behind McFreedies and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bugasto slips an arm under McFreedies chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bugasto has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bugasto is squeezing on McFreedies like an anaconda would it's prey. McFreedies fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
