Hughes comes to the cage accompanied by Hank Williams Jr. - Country Boy Can Survive . Mercer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Trapt-Still Frame. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Mercer.
Hughes takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Hughes is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mercer pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Hughes is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Mercer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hughes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
