Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle ONeill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goran Spaten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle ONeill has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyle ONeill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Goran Spaten! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ONeill throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Spaten tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. ONeill is in Spaten's guard. ONeill is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. ONeill distracts Spaten with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. ONeill trying to control but Spaten is working from the bottom. ONeill sitting in guard here, content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kyle ONeill wasn't doing enough on the ground. Spaten tries to clinch but fails miserably and ONeill decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Spaten's guard. ONeill postures up in Spaten's guard and throws a big left but Spaten blocks it. ONeill looking to pass the guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. ONeill missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. ONeill is stalling in the full guard. Spaten keeping full guard, as ONeill tries to pass. ONeill throws and elbow that misses. Spaten uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in ONeill's guard. Nice move by Spaten! Spaten throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Spaten wanted to stand there but ONeill had control of the position. ONeill trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Spaten missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. ONeill being controlled here, momentarily. ONeill has his foot on Spaten's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Spaten works his way back into a safe position though. Spaten prevents ONeill from getting back to his feet. ONeill is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Spaten is aware though and is defending well. Spaten trying to control but ONeill is working from the bottom. Spaten wants to stand but ONeill is controlling his posture from full guard. ONeill is looking to stand up but Spaten isn't so interested in that idea. ONeill has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Spaten can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. ONeill is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. ONeill wants to control but Spaten is keeping him busy. ONeill thows a huge punch but Spaten dodges it nicely.
ONeill seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Spaten is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. ONeill performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Kyle ONeill has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. ONeill connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. ONeill throws a right and a left that both miss. ONeill fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Spaten to the ground. ONeill is now in Spaten's guard. ONeill throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spaten works some decent striking defense from the bottom. ONeill's corner is telling him to maintain position. ONeill wants to control from the top but Spaten keeps moving. ONeill trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle ONeill dominated that round. That's time! ONeill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Spaten wants to clinch but ONeill slips to the side and ONeill counters with a nice body shot. Spaten takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. ONeill closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. ONeill is figuring out what he wants to do next. ONeill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Spaten is looking to improve his position.
Spaten looks like he's trying to stand up.
ONeill wants to pass to mount but Spaten is defending the position. ONeill is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. ONeill controlling the pace. ONeill not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Spaten has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. ONeill is working away from the top position though. ONeill sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. ONeill shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than ONeill was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by ONeill. ONeill content just to control the position here. ONeill lands a heavy elbow. ONeill unloading with bombs! ONeill lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Spaten hang on? ONeill controlling from mount. Spaten is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. ONeill avoids the attempt from Spaten to control. ONeill controlling the pace for now. ONeill raining down shots from the mount! ONeill controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. ONeill punishing his opponent with strikes. ONeill sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Spaten in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. ONeill controlling the pace for now. ONeill lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle ONeill dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
ONeill shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. ONeill trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Spaten is trying to control the position from the bottom.
ONeill controls from within his opponent's guard. ONeill works a leg free and moves into half guard. Spaten is refusing to be controlled, as ONeill sits in half guard. ONeill thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Spaten's head. Spaten is trying to maintain the position but ONeill is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. ONeill drops an elbow to the side of Spaten's head. ONeill working over Spaten with some ground and pound. Spaten looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. ONeill moves into full mount! Spaten won't be happy about that! ONeill controlling his opponent. Spaten working to try and regain half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. ONeill landing strikes from the mount and Spaten is in trouble! BOOM! ONeill connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Spaten is rocked! Spaten takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. ONeill takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. ONeill landing punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spaten wants to hold on but ONeill pushes him away. ONeill content just to control the position here. ONeill connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
ONeill looking to finish Spaten with some ground and pound. This is bad for Spaten! ONeill lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Spaten takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. ONeill controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. ONeill punishing his opponent with strikes. ONeill with a couple of short strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. ONeill controlling the pace for now. ONeill lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. ONeill content just to control the position here.
And that's the end of the fight! Kyle ONeill showed his dominance in that final round. Well ONeill has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
