Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Gorvinskichev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manuel Loco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gorvinskichev comes to the ring accompanied by New Noise. Loco comes into a darkened arena with his song building. IM & GMS - Arabian Knights On Mescaline kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Manuel Loco! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gorvinskichev throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Manuel Loco has been cut. Loco fails with a takedown attempt. Loco scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Steve Gorvinskichev has been cut. Steve Gorvinskichev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A combination from Gorvinskichev does no damage. Gorvinskichev thows a left - swing and a miss! Loco tries to close the distance and clinch but Gorvinskichev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gorvinskichev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Loco shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Gorvinskichev trying to hold on to Loco's head to control him but Loco postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Loco keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gorvinskichev's head. Gorvinskichev is trying to keep Loco in close.
Loco must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gorvinskichev pulls Loco in close to his closed guard and prevents Loco from doing any damage or advancing position.
Steve Gorvinskichev has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Loco shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gorvinskichev but Gorvinskichev pushes him off and we're back to square one. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. No joy there for Gorvinskichev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Loco changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gorvinskichev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Loco tries for a kimura but Gorvinskichev is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manuel Loco dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
