Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Invidious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Gale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Invidious looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Invidious. No joy for Gale on that attempt.
Gale shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Invidious looks like he's trying to stand up.
Invidious trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Gale frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gale is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Invidious shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gale counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Gale passes the guard and advances to mount!
Gale is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Invidious is surviving well by controlling Gale's body position as best he can.

Invidious tries to buck Gale off but he can't manage it.

Gale is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Invidious has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Gale takes Invidious's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Invidious is in trouble.

Gale is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Invidious is defending well though. Gale let's go of the attempt for now.

Invidious is trying to get back to his feet but Gale has full control of the position and if anything, Invidious has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Gale working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Invidious is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Gale has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Invidious taps out!
