Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Abbott Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abbott Jr's entrance music is Metallica - Master of Puppets. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Abbott Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rafael da Silva! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! da Silva has taken the fight to the clinch.
da Silva cracks Abbott Jr with a nice body shot. da Silva lands a shot to the body. da Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Abbott Jr has him pressed against the cage. da Silva misses with a body punch.
Abbott Jr breaks from the clinch.
da Silva throws a series of punches but Abbott Jr moves out of range. da Silva has Abbott Jr up against the cage in a clinch.
da Silva lands on the inside with an uppercut. da Silva working hard to break the clinch. da Silva misses with a hook from the clinch. Abbott Jr effectively controlling the action here. da Silva has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Abbott Jr has da Silva pressed against the cage, preventing da Silva from circling away and getting back to striking at range. da Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The fight moves into the clinch position. Abbott Jr pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Abbott Jr wants a takedown.

da Silva can't find room to land a body shot as Abbott Jr controls the action.
da Silva lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Abbott Jr or not. A frustrated look appears on da Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch. da Silva wants to break free but Abbott Jr has control.
Abbott Jr gets control of da Silva's arms and successfully pulls guard. Abbott Jr will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. da Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Abbott Jr works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbott Jr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. da Silva throws a big right hand that misses. Abbott Jr has a closed guard, preventing da Silva from standing up. da Silva with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. da Silva trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. da Silva stays in close to Abbott Jr's body and controls the position. da Silva chips away with some ground and pound. da Silva missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. da Silva throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. da Silva throws a big right hand that misses. da Silva wants to stand but Abbott Jr is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Abbott Jr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Abbott Jr preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. da Silva looking to sit in guard and control but Abbott Jr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. da Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abbott Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Abbott Jr postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! da Silva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Abbott Jr, into his guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. da Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Abbott Jr works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abbott Jr pulls da Silva in close to his closed guard and prevents da Silva from doing any damage or advancing position. da Silva working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. da Silva stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Abbott Jr throws up his legs and catches da Silva in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! da Silva tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Abbott Jr! That came out of nowhere!
