Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kato Kabrinsky!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kabrinsky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Oliveira looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kabrinsky staying calm.
Kabrinsky passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Oliveira!
Oliveira's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Kabrinsky is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Oliveira is surviving well by controlling Kabrinsky's body position as best he can.

Kabrinsky's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Oliveira knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kabrinsky on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kato Kabrinsky was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Vinny Oliveira is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kabrinsky drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kabrinsky pushes down on Oliveira's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kabrinsky keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Kabrinsky looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Oliveira is looking to control Kabrinsky's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Oliveira avoid being mounted?
Kabrinsky slows the pace down in half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kabrinsky works his foot free and advances to mount.

Oliveira is trying desperately to improve position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Poor strikes thrown by Kabrinsky there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Kabrinsky working for a submission but Oliveira is keeping him at bay.

Oliveira is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kabrinsky is working for a guillotine from mount but Oliveira frees his head quite easily.
Oliveira is working to get back to half guard.
Kabrinsky controlling his opponent.

Kabrinsky is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Oliveira is surviving well by controlling Kabrinsky's body position as best he can.
Kabrinsky throwing strikes here but Oliveira is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Sloppy strikes from Oliveira. Those never looked like landing.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kabrinsky dodges the punch combination from Oliveira.
Oliveira looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Oliveira lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kabrinsky circles away quickly and effectively.

Kabrinsky feints and as Oliveira raises his hands in defense, Kabrinsky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kabrinsky controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kabrinsky slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kabrinsky works to advance to full mount. Oliveira defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Kabrinsky takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kabrinsky seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Oliveira is holding on tight.
Kabrinsky looking to control and managing it successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oliveira is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kabrinsky locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Oliveira is forced to tap!
