Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Little Jimmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Payak Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy comes to the cage accompanied by The Truth Shall Set You Free - Silence. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy with a poor takedown
and Jimmy counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Kennedy looking for submissions off his back.
Kennedy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Kennedy is looking to control Jimmy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kennedy avoid being mounted?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, if Jimmy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Jimmy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kennedy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jimmy has managed to get both his arms back between Kennedy's legs - danger averted.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kennedy is on top in guard.
Kennedy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jimmy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kennedy has Jimmy in his guard.

Kennedy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jimmy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kennedy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jimmy is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kennedy.

and Jimmy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jimmy.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That was a close second round but I would say that Little Jimmy will probably get the nod.

Well Jimmy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
