Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Renato Barral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Huang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huang has chosen Special Agent Huang as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renato Barral! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Huang! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huang lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Barral backs up against the cage.
Huang throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Barral counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Huang's guard now. Huang looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Barral has picked Huang up and slammed him! Huang can't keep hold of the triangle and Barral manages to pass to side control! Huang wants to get back to his feet but Barral is dominant here and he's now got Huang's back! Huang controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Huang is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Barral off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

That's one minute gone in the round. Barral slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Barral has the hooks in. Huang is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Barral is riding his opponent, not letting Huang buck him off. Barral's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barral has his opponent's back but Huang is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Barral. Huang moves into the clinch. Barral tries to pull guard but Huang holds him up against the cage and eventually Barral drops back down to his feet.

Huang tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Barral smiles and moves away.
A right-left combo lands from Huang. Barral tries to score a power double leg takedown but Huang sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barral somewhat. George Huang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Huang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Barral sprawls well initially but Huang persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barral gets full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Huang drops back, looking for a kneebar! Barral looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Barral looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Barral! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Huang is pushing Barral's head away, looking to escape. Barral manages to hold on to the position though. Barral content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Huang tries to buck Barral off but Barral is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renato Barral dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
No joy there for Huang, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Barral swats away the attempt to clinch by Huang. Huang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Barral manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Huang throws a left and a right that both miss
and Barral counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Huang! Huang tries to improve his position but instead Barral has taken his back! Huang trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Huang might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Barral kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. I really don't envy Huang right now.

That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Huang's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Huang is trying to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Barral controls the action. You can see the frustration on Huang's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Huang rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Renato Barral just wasn't active enough. Huang scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Huang connects with a single shot there. Huang with a lazy takedown attempt and Barral decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Huang's guard. Huang working for a triangle but Barral defends it easily.
Huang is breathing heavily. Huang is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barral won't allow Huang to sweep him here. Huang is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barral defends well. Barral prevents Huang from getting back to his feet. Huang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Huang looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Barral has picked Huang up and slammed him! Huang can't keep hold of the triangle and Barral manages to pass to side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renato Barral dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Huang is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Barral is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Barral controlling from the full mount. Barral prevents Huang from getting the reversal. Huang takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barral sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Huang throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Huang tries to buck Barral off but he can't manage it. Huang is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Barral controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Huang is desperately trying to improve his position but Barral has a good base and remains in mount. Barral controlling from mount. Barral takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Huang is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good control from Barral. Huang rolls, trying to escape but Barral keeps control of the position.

And that's the end of the fight! Renato Barral showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Barral, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
