Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose Aldo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Paulo Kang's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Aldo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paulo Kang! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kang takes a swing at Aldo's ribcage but misses. A bone on bone clash there as Aldo blocks the leg kick.
Paulo Kang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aldo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kang feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Aldo's calf. Kang tries a low kick but Aldo avoids it. Kang is looking to clinch but Aldo is avoiding it.
Kang cracks Aldo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Aldo jabs at Kang's body. Kang looks to land a combination but Aldo avoids it well. Kang misses with a looping right. Kang scores with a crisp jab that stopped Aldo in his tracks. Aldo checks a leg kick nicely. Kang waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Aldo. Aldo misses with a right hand and Kang makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang works the jab nicely. Aldo misses with a hook
and Kang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Aldo has a takedown stuffed. Aldo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kangs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Aldo just misses with a punch to the body.
Kang uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aldo. Kang feints and then cracks Aldo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aldo down. Aldo swats away the attempt to clinch by Kang. Kang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Aldo counters with a nice uppercut. Kang checks a leg kick. Aldo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kang. Nice jab there from Kang. Aldo throws a hook but Kang blocks it. Aldo misses with a left hand and Kang counters with an inside leg kick. Kang has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Aldo takes one to the side of the head.
Kang connects with a solid leg kick. Kang's corner calls for a 1-2. Kang obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That kick from Kang tenderised Aldo's leg. Aldo is trying to keep his angry face on. Kang connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kang jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kang chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Aldo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kang tries to clinch up. Good standup being displayed there by Kang as he connects with a hook. A low kick from Kang misses and Aldo counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aldo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kang tries to clinch up but Aldo circles away and keeps his distance. Aldo swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kang counters with a three punch combo that has Aldo backing up. Aldo nods at Kang to acknowledge the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kang misses with a body shot.
Kang misses the shot to the body. Kang is looking to clinch. Kang throws out a loose jab but Aldo uses good head movement to avoid it. Kang lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Aldo motions for Kang to come forward. Aldo throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kang wants to clinch. Kang cracks the inside of Aldo's front leg. Aldo steps into range and cracks Kang with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Kang flops backwards and Aldo dives into his guard looking to finish!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jose Aldo will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

and Aldo scores with a counter punch that sends Kang to the canvas! Aldo smells blood - he's punishing Kang with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kang has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Aldo!
