The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kacema keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kacema is trying to control Darnell's posture but Darnell avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Darnell thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Darnell trying to control the action but Kacema is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Darnell throws a lazy uppercut
and Kacema counters with a good low kick that Darnell was not able to check.
Kacema throws an overhand right that lands on Darnell's shoulder, as Darnell tries to avoid the shot.
Darnell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Darnell feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kacemas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Darnell is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

and Darnell counters with an outside leg kick.
Kacema tries to clinch but Darnell moves out of range.

and Darnell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Kacema counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Darnell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kacema doesn't manage to clinch there - Darnell circles away.

Darnell lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kacema at a distance.
Darnell works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Darnell misses with a lunging right hand
and Kacema counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Darnell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kacema sprawls well. Kacema wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Darnell gets slowly back to his feet.

and Darnell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Darnell has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Darnell clinches.
Kacema breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nice uppercut lands for Darnell. That snapped Kacema's head back.

and Darnell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Darnell throws a hook but Kacema blocks it.
Darnell looks to land a right hand but Kacema moved out of range.
Kacema scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Darnell is breathing heavily.
Darnell has his takedown stuffed
enabling Kacema to counter with a crisp jab.
Konstantine Kacema has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Darnell.
Darnell with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kacema to score with a decent uppercut.
Darnell's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kacema connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Darnell scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Darnell is rocked!

Kacema lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Darnell - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Kacema!
