Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daryl Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Legion Solus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solus with a lazy takedown attempt

and Sharp counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Solus's guard now.

Solus postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sharp is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Solus, into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sharp is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Solus is just riding it out for now. Sharp eventually gives up the hold.

Solus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sharp swivels though and keeps the full guard.
