The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gomi as he jumps to the side.
Woods misses with a leg kick
and Gomi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Woods throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gomi counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Gomi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A cross from Gomi lands.
Gomi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Woods eats them both and turns towards Gomi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Woods throws a leg kick
and Gomi counters with a right hand to the body.
Tiger Woods seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gomi pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Woods back to the cage. Gomi follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gomi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Woods manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gomi scores with the left hand. Woods knows he should have avoided that one.
Gomi scores with a jab to the body.
Woods is breathing heavily.
Oooooh!!! Gomi has knocked Woods down with a huge combo! Gomi steps away and waves a wobbly Woods back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Woods is rocked!
It looks like Tiger Woods has been cut.
