Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ololo Ololo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jurij Gagarin!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ololo tries a low kick but Gagarin avoids it.
Ololo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Ololo slows the pace down in half guard.
Ololo seems to be looking for submissions.
Ololo content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ololo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ololo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ololo is trying to work for a kimura but Gagarin is defending well.
Ololo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gagarin defending well though.

Gagarin is looking to get back to full guard here but Ololo has managed to pass to side control instead.

Gagarin is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ololo connects with a decent elbow.

Ololo is putting a hurting on Gagarin here, landing some big shots from side control.
Ololo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gagarin takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ololo stands up and we're back to a striking position.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Ololo lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Ololo decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Ololo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gagarin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Ololo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Ololo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gagarin has eaten all the pies!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ololo drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ololo seems to have locked his on tight now - Gagarin screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ololo, as he picks up the win!
