Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny McLean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lenny McLean! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McLean tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McLean moves in looking to clinch but Karlsson pushes him off. Karlsson has closed the distance and engaged McLean in a clinch.

Lenny McLean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McLean tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Karlsson counters by moving into the clinch. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McLean shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Karlsson but Karlsson pushes him off and we're back to square one. McLean looks to clinch and Karlsson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McLean's guard. McLean has his foot on Karlsson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Karlsson works his way back into a safe position though. McLean looking to hit a scissor sweep but Karlsson is one step ahead there. Karlsson tries to free his leg and advance position but McLean is retaining full guard. McLean had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Karlsson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McLean Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Karlsson's back instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stefan Karlsson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A punch combination from McLean misses. McLean clinches up with Karlsson and pushes him back against the cage. Karlsson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Karlsson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. McLean pushes off an throws an elbow but Karlsson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, McLean just misses with a elbow thrown towards Karlsson's brow. Karlsson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McLean just stands there and leans against the cage. Karlsson lands an elbow that stopped McLean in his tracks for a moment. McLean tries to score a body lock takedown but Karlsson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. McLean lands a nice elbow. Karlsson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Karlsson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. McLean advances to half guard. McLean works his way into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Karlsson is trying to get back to half guard. Karlsson is not content to let McLean control the position. Who's going to make the next move?
That's one minute gone in the round. McLean tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McLean has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Karlsson is trying to control McLean's posture but McLean avoids it. Karlsson is not content to let McLean control the position. McLean swings around for an armbar but Karlsson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McLean's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McLean looking for a guillotine here but Karlsson defends easily.
McLean is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. McLean is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. McLean prevents Karlsson from improving his position. McLean seems to be looking for submissions.

McLean can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Karlsson is looking to escape. McLean fails to take his opponent's back. McLean with the ground and pound from mount. McLean trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
