The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mysterio shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Finisher napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mysterio is trying to ground and pound but Finisher uses the momentary lack of control by Mysterio to regain half guard.
Finisher wants to control but Mysterio is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Mysterio lands strikes from half guard.
It looks like Great Finisher has been cut.
Finisher looks like he's trying to stand up.

Finisher works his way to full guard. Good work.
Mysterio connects with a couple of short punches.
Finisher pushes Mysterio off and scrambles back to his feet.

and Mysterio counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mysterio.

Finisher utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mysterio drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Finisher manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mysterio has Finisher in his guard.

Mysterio looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mysterio wants to get back to his feet but Finisher is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mysterio wants to sweep but no luck.
Mysterio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Finisher on the ground.
Finisher wants to control from the top but Mysterio keeps moving.
Mysterio has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Finisher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mysterio is looking for a triangle but Finisher pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Finisher decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mysterio, up you get!
Mysterio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mysterio misses with a head shot. Finisher uses the momentum to regain guard.

Mysterio stands up over Finisher, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Mysterio stands and throws Finisher's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Finisher is looking to regain half guard here but Mysterio keeps moving and retains side control.
Finisher looks gassed!
Mysterio creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That has opened up Great Finisher's cut even more.
Mysterio looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Mysterio lands an elbow.
The cut above Great Finisher's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Mysterio creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Finisher sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Finisher struggling a bit here.
Mysterio is working Finisher over with some ground and pound from side control.
Great Finisher's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Great Finisher's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
