Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sal Manella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manella comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Egg kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto has a takedown stuffed.
Manella pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Manella cracks Pinto with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pinto takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Manella throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pinto sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pinto shoots in and drives through. Manella sprawls well.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Manella.
Manella throws a jab when Pinto was well out of range.
Manella throws a wild body kick that Pinto sees coming a mile off.
Manella stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pinto gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Manella counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Pinto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pinto has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Manella.
Manella thuds a left hand into Pinto's body.
Pinto looks for a takedown but Manella sprawls well.

Pinto takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Pinto walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Manella stuffs the takedown attempt from Pinto. Pinto gets slowly back to his feet.

Manella bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Manella changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Manella fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Manella lands a nice shot to the body.
Manella scores with a hook to the body. Pinto takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Pinto's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Manella connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pinto scrambles back to his feet.
Manella feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pinto's calf.

Manella thows a body kick. Pinto tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Pinto has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Manella finds it's way round the side to connect with Pinto's head.
Pinto takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pinto will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Manella tests Pinto's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Manella moves into the clinch successfully.
The referee is keeping an eye on Manella - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Pinto fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Pinto is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Manella pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Manella lands a good knee to the midsection. Pinto won't want to take too many of those.
Manella unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pinto lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Manella.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd cheers as Manella lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pinto doesn't seem phased though.

Pinto is rocked!
Manella circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Pinto to the canvas! Pinto doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Manella keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sal Manella!
