The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashubaragan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ashubaragan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Perez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Perez shoots and misses

and Ashubaragan counters with a left hand that sends Perez to the canvas!
Ashubaragan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ashubaragan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Perez is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Perez is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ashubaragan rolls with it to try and escape but Perez cranks on the arm and Ashubaragan is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
