Oliveira comes into the arena with New Divide blaring out of the sound system. Hiatas has chosen Undead as his entrance music. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiatas moves in looking to clinch but Oliveira pushes him off.
Hiatas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hiatas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Oliveira wants to control but Hiatas is having none of it.
Hiatas lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Hiatas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Oliveira is just riding it out for now. Hiatas eventually gives up the hold.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Hiatas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Oliveira won't be happy with that.

Hiatas tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Hiatas goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Oliveira is on top in guard.
Oliveira is working Hiatas over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Oliveira wants to free his trapped foot but Hiatas is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Oliveira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hiatas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hiatas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hiatas is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hiatas seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

and Hiatas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hiatas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oliveira swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oliveira manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Hiatas is in a horrible position here. Oliveira smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oliveira wants to control the pace but Hiatas is squirming around nicely.

Hiatas tries to lock up and control but Oliveira gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Oliveira is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hiatas chips away with some ground and pound.
Oliveira manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Oliveira cracks Hiatas with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
