The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giovanni with a poor takedown
and Good counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Giovanni thinking.
Good shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Good was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Good with a couple of short strikes.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Giovanni can do anything to dispel that myth.
Giovanni is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Good tries to control but Giovanni wriggling away.
Good connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good punching from mount but Giovanni doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Giovanni tries to hold on but Good pushes him away.
Good thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Good postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Giovanni looks a forlorn figure.

Good postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Giovanni in real trouble here! The ref calls for Giovanni to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
