The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jose Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cotter throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
Cotter darts in trying to clinch
and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cotter won't be happy with that.
Gracie is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cotter is trying to escape and Gracie transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cotter is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gracie! Very nice indeed!
