The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rubio doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rubio manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sakuragi Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rubio displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johnson.

Johnson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rubio drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Rubio as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Johnson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Rubio! Nice submission victory there!
