Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clooten slips under a jab.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clooten moves away.
Good shot there by Jackson.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jackson.
Clooten lands a right hook to the body.
Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Clooten sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jackson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Clooten checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Clooten tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Clooten is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jackson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Clooten sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Jackson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Clooten is trying to get back to half guard.
Clooten takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Clooten tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jackson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Clooten takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Jackson is trying to control the action in half guard but Clooten is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Jackson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Clooten down.
