Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shin Samurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Rockwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shin Samurai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Rockwell! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rockwell looks to land a left hand but Samurai moved out of range nicely. Samurai is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rockwell. Rockwell works Samurai's body with a nice hook. Samurai misses with a right hand and Rockwell counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rockwell postures up in Samurai's guard and throws a big left but Samurai blocks it. Rockwell is working Samurai over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Samurai keeping moving, preventing Rockwell from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rockwell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Rockwell works over Samurai with some ground and pound from guard. Rockwell with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Rockwell is looking to work some ground and pound but Samurai has wrist control. Rockwell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rockwell throws a big right hand that misses. Samurai is breathing heavily. Rockwell thows a big elbow that misses. Rockwell stands up from guard. Let's bang! Samurai misses with a hook
and Rockwell counters with a left to the body. Some wild striking there from Rockwell.
Rockwell misses with a series of wild punches.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rockwell, right into the meat.
Rockwell throws a body punch but Samurai moves out of range. Samurai tries to keep at a distance but Rockwell has taken the fight into the clinch. Rockwell misses with an elbow over the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rockwell's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Rockwell creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Rockwell lands a hook to the side of the head. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Rockwell. Rockwell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Samurai drops his hands momentarily and Rockwell takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rockwell cracks Samurai with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rockwell has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Samurai to stand back up!
Samurai is rocked! Rockwell drops Samurai with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Samurai! Rockwell dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Rockwell!
