Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Junichi Emmeraldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hazlehurst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Emmeraldo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mystic Forces. Hazlehurst has chosen Queen - The Show Must Go On as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Hazlehurst!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazlehurst lunges at Emmeraldo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Emmeraldo's hand.

Emmeraldo tries to keep at a distance but Hazlehurst has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hazlehurst escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A combination from Hazlehurst does no damage.
Sloppy strikes from Hazlehurst. Those never looked like landing.
Hazlehurst attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Emmeraldo scores with a takedown into Hazlehurst's guard.
Hazlehurst wants to stand up but Emmeraldo is controlling him.
Emmeraldo works over Hazlehurst with some ground and pound from guard.
Emmeraldo tries to free his leg and advance position but Hazlehurst is retaining full guard.
Hazlehurst wants to stand but Emmeraldo is controlling the position.
Emmeraldo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Emmeraldo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hazlehurst tries to escape but Emmeraldo is in control.
Emmeraldo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Emmeraldo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hazlehurst, who protects the arm well.
Emmeraldo is trying to ground and pound but Hazlehurst uses the momentary lack of control by Emmeraldo to regain half guard.

Hazlehurst is defending against the submission attempts here by Emmeraldo.
Emmeraldo prevents Hazlehurst from standing back up.

Emmeraldo is looking for a kimura here.
Hazlehurst is looking to escape.
Hazlehurst looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Emmeraldo landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Hazlehurst wants to get back to his feet.

Emmeraldo is working for a submission of some sort.
Emmeraldo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Emmeraldo lands a nice short elbow.

Emmeraldo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hazlehurst tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Emmeraldo!
