The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggler forces Beam back against the cage and clinches.
Beam on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Diggler is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Beam gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Beam fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Beam tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Diggler controlling the action here for a moment.
Diggler lands an uppercut.
Diggler is trying to stall.
Beam prevents the takedown attempt.
Diggler lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Beam backwards.
Beam gets underhooks to prevent Diggler's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dirk Diggler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diggler misses with a knee to the head.
Diggler tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Beam smiles and moves away.

Beam bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Diggler's guard.

Diggler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Beam is one step ahead there.
Beam slips nicely into half guard.
Beam seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Diggler is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
