The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nepphur bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Laht Nepphur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filmer tries to clinch up but Nepphur circles away and keeps his distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Filmer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Filmer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nepphur's guard.
Nepphur manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Filmer manages to get himself to full guard.
Nepphur stays in close to Filmer's body and controls the position.

Filmer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nepphur kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Filmer controls Nepphur momentarily but Nepphur frees himself.
Filmer can't keep his opponent in guard - Nepphur advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Nepphur uses his free foot to push down on Filmer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Filmer.
Filmer is trying to stand.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Laht Nepphur wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Nepphur lands the left hand.
It looks like Andrew Filmer has been cut.

Filmer forces Nepphur back against the cage and clinches.

Nepphur prevents the takedown attempt.
Filmer tries to score a body lock takedown but Nepphur shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Laht Nepphur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Filmer.
Filmer looks gassed!
Nepphur's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Filmer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nepphur is fending him off so far but Filmer persists. Nope, Nepphur circles away and we're back to standing.
Nepphur dips to his left and cracks Filmer with an uppercut!
Filmer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nepphur wants to clinch up but Filmer keeps it at a distance.
Filmer is looking to clinch but Nepphur is avoiding it.
Nepphur lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Filmer falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
