Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Walter Strathclyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonard Garcia will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Walter Strathclyde! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leonard Garcia! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Strathclyde. Strathclyde fails with a takedown attempt. Strathclyde fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Garcia to the ground. Strathclyde is now in Garcia's guard. Garcia looking to hit a scissor sweep but Strathclyde is one step ahead there. Strathclyde thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Garcia wants to sweep here but Strathclyde controlling him for the moment. Strathclyde throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Garcia works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Garcia working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Strathclyde. Strathclyde with a flurry of punches that miss. Strathclyde is looking to work some ground and pound but Garcia has wrist control. Strathclyde is working Garcia over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Garcia manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Strathclyde manages to get himself to full guard.
Garcia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strathclyde swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia wants to stand but Strathclyde has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Garcia distracts Strathclyde with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Garcia got a little sloppy there for a moment and Strathclyde has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Garcia has managed to get both his arms back between Strathclyde's legs - danger averted. Strathclyde had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Garcia defends it easily. Strathclyde avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Strathclyde is breathing heavily. Garcia stands up and waves to Strathclyde to follow him. Strathclyde takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Garcia throws a series of punches but Strathclyde moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strathclyde closes this distance looking for a takedown but Garcia circles away. Garcia lands a left and a right that sends Strathclyde crashing to the canvas! Garcia dives into mount looking to finish!
Strathclyde is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Garcia is in the full mount, landing strikes. Oh Strathclyde is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Garcia unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Strathclyde wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Garcia celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
