Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikhail Thromonavich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Spartacus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thromonavich's entrance music is Angel of Death - Slayer. A fine choice. Spartacus has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thromonavich misses with a takedown attempt - Spartacus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Thromonavich wants to clinch up but Spartacus keeps it at a distance.
Thromonavich checks the leg kick nicely there.
Thromonavich gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thromonavich postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Thromonavich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Spartacus seems a little lost for a moment, as Thromonavich dominates the positioning.

and Spartacus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Spartacus lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Thromonavich stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Spartacus.
Good leg kick by Spartacus there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Thromonavich feints and as Spartacus raises his hands in defense, Thromonavich changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Thromonavich is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Thromonavich stands up and waves to Spartacus to follow him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thromonavich shoots for a double leg takedown but Spartacus sprawls well. He's pushed Thromonavich's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Spartacus, right into the meat.
Thromonavich throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Spartacus makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Thromonavich really felt that one!

Nice uppercut there from Spartacus.
A combination from Thromonavich does no damage.

Thromonavich shoots in for a takedown but Spartacus shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikhail Thromonavich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thromonavich takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Spartacus with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Thromonavich lands with a big left! Spartacus is wobbled badly! Thromonavich comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Spartacus to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
