3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nathan St Peters! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skerlik tries to clinch and St Peters counters with a takedown into side control. Skerlik tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Skerlik is trying to stand up. St Peters controlling the position easily from mount. You get the feeling that Skerlik really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's one minute gone in the round. Skerlik is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Skerlik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St Peters on the ground. St Peters misses with a head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Skerlik wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. St Peters scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Skerlik is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. St Peters lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
St Peters throws some wild stikes that Skerlik manages to avoid easily.
St Peters raining down hammerfists from mount. St Peters postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Skerlik looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan St Peters dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
St Peters closes this distance looking for a takedown but Skerlik circles away.
Skerlik is rocked! Skerlik tries to clinch and St Peters counters with a big slam followed by a series of strikes - this one is all over!
