Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Niko Bellic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cris Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bellic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pursuit Of Happiness. Speed is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Paul Oakenfold / Ready Steady Go. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Niko Bellic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cris Speed! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bellic closes the distance and clinches. Bellic throws a punch but it's blocked by Speed. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bellic. Bellic throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Speeds head. Speed is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bellic is keeping busy. Bellic tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Speed's elbow. Speed tries to score a body lock takedown but Bellic shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Bellic softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Speed is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bellic misses with a hook from the clinch. A body shot lands from Bellic.

Bellic makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Bellic lands with a light punch inside. Bellic misses with a hook from the clinch. The referee calls for Bellic to work.
Bellic digs a right hand into Speed's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Speed's gas tank. Speed fails to pull guard.
Bellic lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Speed backwards. A nice left hand lands by Bellic.
Bellic stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Bellic works on Speed's body with a couple of short punches. Speed looks gassed! Bellic throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Speed's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Bellic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bellic takes a swing at Speed's ribcage but misses. Bellic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bellic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Speed moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Speed swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bellic drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bellic content to stall in guard here. Speed is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bellic is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bellic decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Speed, up you get! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Speed misses with a takedown attempt and Bellic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Niko Bellic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cris Speed. Bellic closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Speed quickly recovers to half guard. Speed is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Speed is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bellic trying to control the action but Speed is working from the bottom. Speed wants to improve his position but Bellic is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bellic is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Niko Bellic wasn't doing enough on the ground. Speed scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Speed is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bellic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Bellic regains half guard there - taking advantage of Speed's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Niko Bellic dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Speed has his takedown stuffed and Bellic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Speed shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bellic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Speed throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bellic counters with a lovely straight right hand! Speed gets caught napping as Bellic dives in and scores a takedown. Speed manages to retain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bellic has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Speed is proving hard to escape from. Speed looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bellic has picked Speed up and slammed him! Speed can't keep hold of the triangle and Bellic manages to pass to side control! Speed tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bellic wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bellic tries to stand but Speed is controlling his head. Speed is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Speed tries to roll over but Bellic keeps him under control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Speed is looking to control Bellic's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Speed avoid being mounted? Bellic slows the pace down in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Speed wants to improve his position but Bellic is controlling well.
Bellic seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Speed moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bellic avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Speed tries to roll over but Bellic keeps him under control. Bellic is keen to just control but Speed is a slippery customer. Speed tries to get to full guard but Bellic has control of the leg. Speed actively working from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bellic not doing much here.
Speed is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bellic pulls his head out easily. Bellic prevents Speed from improving his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bellic perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Niko Bellic dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Speed tries for a takedown but Bellic circles away easily and Bellic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Speed fails with the takedown and Bellic counters with a right hand to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bellic avoids the body shot from Speed.

so Speed counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bellic keeping full guard, as Speed tries to pass. Bellic trying to keep a closed guard but Speed is proving a slippery customer.
Speed pushes down on Bellic's leg and manages to get into half guard. Speed trying to control the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Speed wants to take a breather but Bellic is having none of it. Speed is trying to work for a kimura but Bellic is defending well.
Speed prevents Bellic from improving his position. Speed passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bellic!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Speed goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bellic is on top in guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Speed throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bellic uses it to pass to side control.
Speed is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bellic trying to control the action but Speed is working from the bottom. Cris Speed has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bellic stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bellic thows a body shot but no joy. Bellic connects with a looping right hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Cris Speed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bellic has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
