Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maimuta Prunea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Hammonok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hammonok's choice of entrance music: Dreams. Pete Hammonok has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Maimuta Prunea! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Hammonok! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prunea gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hammonok pushes down on Prunea's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hammonok is working for a submission of some sort.
Hammonok slips a nice elbow through Prunea's hands, connecting with Prunea's forehead. Prunea trying to control from the bottom.
Prunea pushes Hammonok off looking to stand but Hammonok dives back in and keeps control.
Hammonok prevents Prunea from improving his position. Hammonok is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Prunea is just riding it out for now. Hammonok eventually gives up the hold. Prunea wants to control but Hammonok is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammonok thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Prunea is trying to get back to full guard. It looks like Hammonok is going to stand back up.
Hammonok performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Prunea is looking to get back to full guard here but Hammonok has managed to pass to side control instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Prunea explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Hammonok scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammonok tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Prunea was well out of range. Poor timing from Hammonok. Maimuta Prunea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hammonok swings for the body but Prunea moves out of range.
Prunea tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hammonok is able to avoid easily. Good exchange - Hammonok coming out on top. Decent striking displayed by Hammonok there. Prunea with a poor takedown and Hammonok counters with a one-two to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Hammonok. Prunea does a little dance to reset his feet. Hammonok misses with a few strikes there.
Prunea doesn't manage to clinch there - Hammonok circles away.
Prunea moves into the clinch successfully.
Prunea manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hammonok wants to stand and escape but instead Prunea has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammonok keeping moving, preventing Prunea from controlling successfully. Hammonok lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Prunea! Hammonok working for a guillotine from mount but Prunea is in no mood to give up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Prunea tries to reverse the position but Hammonok maintains control. Hammonok is standing up, even though he is in mount. Hammonok lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Prunea backs up against the cage.
Prunea moves into the clinch successfully.
Hammonok prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hammonok drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Prunea gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hammonok missing with a left hand there. Prunea was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hammonok thows a left - swing and a miss! Prunea is looking to clinch. Prunea is looking to clinch. Prunea shoots and misses and Hammonok counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Prunea thinking. Prunea walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Prunea has his takedown stuffed letting Hammonok counter with a right hand. Prunea fails with the takedown and Hammonok counters with a nice body shot. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maimuta Prunea. That's going to take a lot out of him. Prunea checks a leg kick nicely. Prunea shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hammonok as he avoids it easily. Prunea throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prunea throws a low kick, looking for Hammonok's leg but Hammonok calmly moves out of range. Maimuta Prunea is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hammonok moves into range and connects with a jab. Prunea throws a head kick but Hammonok moves out of range.
Prunea fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hammonok manages to avoid it. A slow jab from Hammonok misses its intended target. Hammonok cracks Prunea with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Prunea tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Prunea wants to clinch up but Hammonok keeps it at a distance. Hammonok throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Prunea misses with a takedown and Hammonok cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammonok misses with a shot to the body and Prunea counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hammonok scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Prunea misses with a takedown attempt and Hammonok counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hammonok tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Prunea throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Hammonok throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Prunea sees it coming and avoids it easily. Prunea has a takedown stuffed. Hammonok scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hammonok misses with a body punch
and Prunea counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hammonok is breathing heavily. Prunea is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hammonok doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Prunea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammonok is trying to stand back up but Prunea is controlling him
Hammonok is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Prunea wants to take a breather but Hammonok is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Prunea seems to be working for a kimura but Hammonok defends the submission attempt. Hammonok is trying to get back to full guard. Prunea wants to pass the guard but Hammonok is defending well. Prunea tries to stand but his arm is trapped. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Maimuta Prunea will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

He's persisting with it as Hammonok sprawls well. Hammonok wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Prunea gets slowly back to his feet. Prunea shoots for a double leg takedown but Hammonok sprawls well. He's pushed Prunea's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hammonok scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Hammonok lands a right hook to the body.
Hammonok looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Prunea is trying to get back to full guard. Prunea tries to kick Hammonok off but Hammonok keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammonok stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Prunea to get to his feet. Hammonok misses with a straight left. Hammonok lands a jab to the nose. Prunea shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hammonok sprawls well. Hammonok wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Prunea uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hammonok. Prunea slips under a jab. Prunea shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hammonok tries to hold on but Prunea postures up. Prunea throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Prunea unloads with some shots from mount but Hammonok bucks and avoids them well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammonok is squirming around, avoiding Prunea's attempts to control the action. Prunea goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hammonok turns into him and now he's in Prunea's guard.

Hammonok loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hammonok won't allow Prunea to sweep him here. Hammonok stands up from guard. Let's bang! Prunea shoots in for a double leg but Hammonok sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prunea shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Prunea wants to stand but Hammonok has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Hammonok keeps control of the position for the meantime. Prunea is stalling here. Hammonok is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Prunea seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hammonok has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! Pete Hammonok comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hammonok has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
