Griswald has chosen I Set My Friends On Fire - Aiden as his entrance music. Guss Griswald is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian King!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guss Griswald!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Griswald throws a right hand that King ducks under and follows up with a left that King also avoids with ease.
Griswald throws a leg kick but King sees it coming and moves out of range.
King misses with a looping left.
King digs a good body shot into Griswald's ribs.
King digs a good hook to Griswald's body.
Griswald looks gassed!
King thows a leg kick but Griswald checks it

and Griswald counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Griswald tries to land knees in the clinch but King avoids the damage to the body.
King wants to break free but Griswald has control.
King is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
King wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
King tries to break the clinch but Griswald is controlling the position.
King can't break the clinch.
Griswald tries to pull guard but King holds him up against the cage and eventually Griswald drops back down to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Griswald will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning King up against the cage.
Griswald looking for a takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King is looking to break free of the clinch but Griswald has double underhooks.
Griswald is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Griswald keeps control of King as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Griswald ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Griswald no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Griswald looking to hit a scissor sweep but King is one step ahead there.
King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
King tries to stand but Griswald is controlling from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Griswald is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Griswald manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. King manages to get himself to full guard.
Griswald is standing up over King. King looks to escape but Griswald dives into side control.
King bucks up and tries to throw Griswald off but instead Griswald has got his back!

Will Griswald go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
King has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Griswald avoiding King 's attempts to control his hands.
Griswald scores with punches from the back.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Griswald scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. King is looking for a way out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Griswald is looking for the choke from the back position but King is controlling his hands well.
King holding both Griswald 's hands and preventing any damage.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
King looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Guss Griswald will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


King throws a low kick but Griswald avoids it.
King lands a with a good body shot.
King lands a nice shot that snaps Griswald's head back.
King jabs at Griswald's body.
King throws a good cross that connects.
Griswald takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Brian King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
King scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King steps into range and cracks Griswald with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Griswald flops backwards and King dives into his guard looking to finish!


Griswald is rocked!
King wants to pass the guard but Griswald is keeping the position.
Griswald is still in real trouble! Can King finish him?
Griswald should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
King trying to control the position from guard on top but Griswald is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Griswald not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Griswald seems to have recovered his senses.

King won't allow Griswald to sweep him here.
Griswald looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but King puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Griswald is looking to control King's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Griswald avoid being mounted?
Griswald is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of King's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take King's back!
King is trying to break free.
Griswald lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns King.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Griswald trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
King grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

King is trying to defend against the choke here but Griswald has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Griswald Tightens the hold and King taps out furiously! Griswald displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Guss Griswald!
