With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oj Simpson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Christopher Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Reyes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Simpson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Reyes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Simpson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Simpson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Reyes eats them both and turns towards Simpson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Simpson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Sloppy strikes from Simpson. Those never looked like landing.
Simpson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Nice defenses there by Simpson.
Simpson looks for the body kick but Reyes saw that one coming.

Simpson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Reyes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Reyes scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Reyes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Simpson swings for the body but Reyes moves out of range.

Reyes takes a swing at Simpson's ribcage but misses.
Simpson slips under a jab.
Simpson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Reyes scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

and Reyes counters with a three punch combo that has Simpson backing up. Simpson nods at Reyes to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reyes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Simpson, as that shot connected.

Reyes works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Reyes with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Simpson to score with a decent uppercut.
Christopher Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reyes takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Simpson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Simpson is looking to wear down Reyes with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Simpson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Simpson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Simpson cracks the inside of Reyes's front leg.
Reyes throws a left and a right that both miss
and Reyes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Reyes throws a nice looking combination but Simpson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Simpson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Simpson counters with a head kick. That will keep Reyes thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
