Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tex Ranger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Kotipelto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ranger comes to the cage accompanied by Eaten by Bloodbath. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tex Ranger! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Timo Kotipelto! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ranger looks to score with a jab to the body but Kotipelto is just out of range. Kotipelto looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ranger! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kotipelto working for a guillotine from mount but Ranger is in no mood to give up. Kotipelto tries to control but Ranger wriggling away. Kotipelto goes for an armbar but Ranger turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Ranger. Ranger thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kotipelto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ranger gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ranger pushes down on Kotipelto's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kotipelto is trying to maintain the position but Ranger is very close to passing his half guard. Ranger passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kotipelto! Kotipelto is looking to get to half guard. Kotipelto is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ranger trying to control but Kotipelto is having none of it. Kotipelto tries to hold on but Ranger postures up. Ranger is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kotipelto to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kotipelto shrugs it off. Ranger avoids the attempt from Kotipelto to control. Kotipelto regains half guard. Kotipelto is in trouble now - Ranger has advanced to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kotipelto sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Kotipelto is not content to let Ranger control the position. Kotipelto moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kotipelto is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ranger rolls with it to try and escape but Kotipelto cranks on the arm and Ranger is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Timo Kotipelto! Timo Kotipelto is the new welterweight champion!
