Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heidan Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daigon Kins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kins comes into a darkened arena with his song building. N.O.S kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daigon Kins!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kins connects with a single shot there.
Warren misses with a double jab
and Kins counters with a nice leg kick.
Warren with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kins counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Warren throws a right hand that misses
and Kins counters with a nice low kick that buckles Warren's knee momentarily.

Kins scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Kins scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Kins jabs Warren to the body, keeping him at a distance.

and Kins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Warren. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Kins's corner calls for a 1-2. Kins obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Heidan Warren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kins counters with a series of strikes. Warren will be more careful next time no doubt.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Warren might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kins enables Warren to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kins manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kins is trying to stand but he's just given Warren his back.

Warren keeps control of the position as Kins tries to break free.
Heidan Warren has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Warren is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Warren throwing sloppy strikes.
Warren is trying to stick to Kins's back but Kins is turning into Warren. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Warren's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kins.

Warren is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kins defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I've got Kins winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
