The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quintana shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches George napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
You can see the frustration on George's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Quintana is trying to get an arm triangle but George is defending well.

Quintana is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, George has escaped the position, nice work there.
George tries to get back to half guard but can't.

George tries to hold on but Quintana pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quintana controlling the pace for now.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
George keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
George tries to control the position but Quintana now has his back.

Quintana is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Quintana is riding his opponent, not letting George buck him off.

George staying busy and making it hard for Quintana to control.

Quintana is cranking George's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for George! He's tightened the choke and George is tapping out!
