And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Beauvais!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frangepan closes the distance looking to clinch

and Beauvais counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Beauvais engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Beauvais pushing down on Frangepan's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Frangepan won't allow Beauvais to pass to mount.

Beauvais stands up out of the half guard.

Frangepan tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Beauvais counters with a single leg into guard. Frangepan didn't expect that.
Beauvais is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Beauvais decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Oooooh!!! Beauvais has knocked Frangepan down with a huge combo! Beauvais steps away and waves a wobbly Frangepan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Franco Frangepan has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Beauvais ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Beauvais no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Frangepan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Beauvais's efforts to push away.
Beauvais makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Beauvais is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Frangepan is keeping busy.
Frangepan scores with a knee to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Frangepan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Beauvais blocks it with crossed arms.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Frangepan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Beauvais closes the distance and clinches.

Beauvais manages to pull guard.
Beauvais lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Frangepan!
Beauvais takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Beauvais is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Frangepan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


Frangepan is rocked!

Beauvais cracks Frangepan with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
