McClusky has chosen I Stand Alone as his entrance music. Biff Buffington could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack McClusky's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Biff Buffington! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jack McClusky! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buffington moves out of range as McClusky strikes. McClusky throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Buffington to counter with a crisp jab. McClusky is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Buffington shoots in for a takedown but McClusky shows good takedown defense. Buffington wants to clinch. McClusky throws a left and a right that both miss
and Buffington counters with a nice body shot. McClusky works the jab nicely. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Buffington looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. McClusky throws a hook to the side of Buffington's head but Buffington sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. McClusky misses the shot to the body. Sloppy strikes from McClusky. Those never looked like landing. McClusky misses with a lunging right hand
letting Buffington counter with a right hand. McClusky throws an off balance right hand
and Buffington counters with a nice body shot. McClusky looks gassed! McClusky defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Buffington. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Biff Buffington. That's going to take a lot out of him. McClusky wants to land a leg kick but Buffington is out of range. Buffington throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Buffington tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McClusky paws at him with a jab and circles away. Buffington shoots in but no luck this time. Buffington tries to land a front kick but McClusky steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Buffington comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. McClusky misses the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buffington shoots in looking for a takedown but McClusky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buffington's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Buffington has a takedown stuffed. Buffington connects with a right hand. McClusky shakes it off. McClusky displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buffington. McClusky misses with a looping right. Buffington cracks McClusky with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. McClusky waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Buffington. McClusky scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Buffington shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McClusky as he avoids it easily. McClusky throws a series of punches but Buffington moves out of range. McClusky throws a series of strikes that have Buffington backpedaling.
It looks like Biff Buffington has been cut. Jack McClusky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McClusky throws a poor cross that misses
and Buffington counters with a three punch combo that has McClusky backing up. McClusky nods at Buffington to acknowledge the strikes. Buffington fails with the takedown. McClusky looks to score with a jab to the body but Buffington is just out of range. Buffington slips under a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buffington tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McClusky manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McClusky works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. McClusky misses with a head kick.
A punch lands to the side of Buffington 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Buffington is rocked! McClusky throws an overhand right that has Buffington reeling! McClusky follows up with more punches and Buffington is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack McClusky! Jack McClusky is the new super heavyweight champion!
