Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a hook but Yap blocks it.
Yap works the jab nicely.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yap moves away.
Jones scores with a sloppy right hand. Yap should have avoided that one.
Yap misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jones misses with an uppercut
and Yap counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Yap misses with a double jab
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yap throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Yap misses with a double jab
and Jones counters with a nice uppercut.
Yap takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jones lands a nice shot that snaps Yap's head back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yap misses with an uppercut
and Jones counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Yap looks gassed!
Jones stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Yap shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Yap misses with a hook to the body
and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jones cracks Yap with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Yap tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jones pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Yap is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pete Jones!
