The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koslovski gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Koslovski stalling against the cage.
Koslovski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jenkins throws a combination that misses and Koslovski counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jenkins thinking. Koslovski shoots for a double leg takedown but Jenkins sprawls well. He's pushed Koslovski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jenkins slaps away a takedown attempt from Koslovski, before circling back to the center of the mat. Koslovski moves out of range of the strikes. Jenkins misses with a double jab
and Koslovski counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Koslovski. Koslovski passes Jenkins's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Koslovski is nestled in close to Jenkins, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jenkins has hold of Koslovski's hands but Koslovski slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Koslovski looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Koslovski lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jenkins wants to control but Koslovski is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Jenkins is trying to stand up here but Koslovski is controlling him well. Koslovski wants to take a breather but Jenkins is having none of it. Koslovski moves nicely into side control. Koslovski stands up and beckons Jenkins to his feet. Jenkins misses the body punch and Koslovski counters by clinching up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Koslovski just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jenkins's brow. Koslovski fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir Koslovski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jenkins is trying to force a seperation but Koslovski has the dominant position. Koslovski keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jenkins's efforts to push away. Koslovski decides to pull guard. Koslovski pushes a forearm under Jenkins's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jenkins is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
