Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mindzatti takes a knee right on the jaw!
Jack with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Georgio Mindzatti has been cut.
Mindzatti pulls guard effortlessly.
Mindzatti utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mindzatti swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mindzatti has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Jack in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Jack thows a big elbow that misses.
Mindzatti keeping moving, preventing Jack from controlling successfully.
Mindzatti looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Jack looking to sit in guard and control but Mindzatti gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jack wants to sweep here but Mindzatti controlling him for the moment.
Mindzatti trying to control but Jack is working from the bottom.
Mindzatti is pushing down on Jack's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jack is fighting to maintain full guard but Mindzatti has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jack is looking for a sweep. Mindzatti is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mindzatti wants to get back to his feet.
Jack is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mindzatti is keen to just control but Jack is a slippery customer.
Mindzatti works his way into side control.
Mindzatti is looking to take a break and control but Jack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jack is looking to reverse the position.
Jack is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mindzatti misses with the ground and pound.

Mindzatti decides to stand back up. Mindzatti steps back and let's Jack get back to his feet.
Jack scores with a head kick. Mindzatti tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Jack closes the distance and pushes Mindzatti back into the cage.
Mindzatti takes an elbow to the temple.
Mindzatti takes a knee right on the jaw!
Mindzatti is looking to break free of the clinch but Jack has double underhooks.

Jack connects with a nasty looking knee right to Mindzatti's face.
Jack lands an elbow inside that Mindzatti shrugs off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jack lands an elbow that stopped Mindzatti in his tracks for a moment.
Mindzatti is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jack pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jack connects with a nasty looking knee right to Mindzatti's face.
Mindzatti is breathing heavily.

Mindzatti is rocked!
Jack lands an elbow that stopped Mindzatti in his tracks for a moment.
Oh Mindzatti is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jack has Mindzatti pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Mindzatti is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Jack - that's hurt Mindzatti badly! Oh, another knee lands and Mindzatti is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Mindzatti doesn't seem to be complaining.
